Day 16
50 Lunges | 50 Donkey Kicks
This was surprisingly painless. Definitely started feeling the lunges towards the end, though. Did 25 on each side for both lunges and donkey kicks. Again, hoping that was the right thing to do.
Day 17
35 Push Ups | 100 Mountain Climbers
The push ups weren’t that bad, actually. Wonder if I’m building up arm strength. The mountain climbers were manageable as well, though I did take a break halfway through. That shit’s tiring! I’m not entirely sure I did them right, but I got through them…
Day 18
100 Triceps Dips | 50 Squat Jumps
100 triceps dips was horrible. Even breaking them up into two sets of 50 turned out to be pushing it. I literally “felt the burn”. And then I felt the burn for hours after. The squat jumps were tiring, as expected, but nothing crazy.
Day 19
200 High Knees | 100 Supermans
Didn’t think it would be too bad. Thought the hardest part would be keeping count. What a fool I was. The high knees started out all right. Then became medium knees, then low knees. And I ended up having to break up the supermans into sets of 25.
Day 20
75 Burpees | 4×60 second Plank
Dear god, this was brutal. Even with breaking the burpees up into sets of 25. The planks were easier though. Barely looked at the stopwatch. But I was really feeling them in my abs. And this was true of the burpees as well: abs and quads. It was my jelly legs that made the reps so hard.
